Malvern Retreat House is known for its Catholic women’s weekend
retreats and Evenings of Recollection. Our weekends, whether the
retreat is in the Family Life Center or the Main Retreat House offers
private adoration time, uplifting liturgies, the Sacrament of
Reconciliation, communal prayer with women for the Stations of the
Cross, socialization and group faith-sharing. Retreat directors vary
with each retreat, so be sure to check our schedule.
While
staying with us, you will experience our gift of hospitality; clean,
comfortable, private rooms and delicious meals served by our
retreat-friendly staff.
Non-Catholics
are always welcome to participate in a retreat. Even if you have never
made a retreat before, pray about a weekend when you may have a few

Our mission to support and nurture the
unemployed and underemployed among us makes us very aware that losing a
job or a family supporting income is harmful to many.
Whole families suffer. One of the least
heard from and most harmed are the individuals who support their
spouse, friend, child, roommate, sibling, etc. They want to help, yet
they often do not know what to do.
This is very painful.
We invite to our retreat, those of you who
are underemployed and unemployed and we ask you to bring that one
person who you look to and rely upon for support on the long road back
to full employment. We will begin with reflection, panel discussions,
breakout sessions with experts in the field and many worthwhile
presentations. This will be followed by a family style dinner and for
those of you who wish to participate, Mass.
We are blessed to have Msgr. Robert McManus
who helped begin Joseph’s People in 1995 at St. Joseph’s and Msgr.
Joseph McLoone, the present Pastor at St. Joseph’s Parish to celebrate
Mass with us. Joseph’s People is a completely nondenominational
faith-based organization and all are welcome, without regard to their
religious affiliation.
For those with small children,
babysitting will be provided for free. Come,
relax, recharge your batteries, gain a greater understanding of the
things standing in your way and reinvigorate your job search. This
is your opportunity to HELP your HELPER.

Brian Gail and Mother Jacinta Miryam, SSCJ, along with an introduction
to the Eucharistic Apostles of Divine Mercy. First Friday &
First Saturday Devotions, a reflective rosary walk to the New Our Lady
of Fatima Shrine, private adoration times &, above all,
celebration of the Feast of Mercy on Sunday, April 7th!
