We are happy to announce that renowned retreat directors Msgr. John Esseff and Rev. Ronan Murphy are returning to Malvern Retreat House for our Divine Mercy weekend retreat. Rev. Stephen DeLacy will also assist during Divine Mercy Sunday.  We hope you can join us for this inspirational retreat for men and women. More details are below:

“Be Merciful, even as your Father is Merciful”: The Graces of the Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy!

Immerse yourself in the depths of God’s Mercy on this powerful weekend Retreat during this Jubilee Year of Mercy with Mass, Adoration, Spiritual Conferences, Reconciliation, Silence & Traditional Devotions culminating in the Feast of Divine Mercy Sunday! Meditate on Pope Francis’s call to be “Merciful as the Father is Merciful!” Experience the peaceful grounds of St. Joseph’s in the Hills this Spring while receiving the promises of grace revealed in the Diary of St. Faustina. Retreatants will be staying at Our Lady’s Hall.

Msgr. EsseffMonsignor John Esseff serves in the Diocese of Scranton as a Priest & Exorcist. He was ordained in 1953. Padre Pio was one of his spiritual directors & he also served as the spiritual director for Mother Teresa of Calcutta.  He promotes the urgency of  Devotion to the Sacred Heart with his Mission, “Building the Kingdom of Love: The Triumph of the Sacred Heart.”  See



Rev. Ronan

Rev. Ronan Murphy hails from Dublin, Ireland & is a priest of the Camden Diocese. Ordained on the feast of Our Lady of Fatima in the Jubilee Year 2000, Father has served as Parochial Vicar in St. Mary’s, Gloucester City & St. Peter’s, Merchantville. He also served at All Saints, Perth City, Australia & given missions in many countries. He is presently chaplain to a Carmelite Monastery in NY & giving retreats for the Marian Movement of Priests.


Rev. DeLacyReverend Stephen P. DeLacy was ordained in 2004 and serves as the Director of the Vocation Office for the Diocesan Priesthood for Philadelphia. He previously was the school minister at Pope John Paul II High School. His dynamic witness to the Gospel through his preaching and joyful approach to living the Christian Vocation has made him a popular presenter.
