Flame of Love Priests and Deacons Retreat 2023

Monsignor Ralph Joseph Chieffo is pastor of Saint Mary Magdalen Parish in Media, PA and enjoys sharing the presence, power and peace of Jesus our Lord and Savior with others through witness stories based on scripture reflections. Father was ordained in 1975 after studying at Saint Charles Seminary and Villanova University. Father was born in Italy and came to Marcus Hook, PA when he was eight years old. He writes: “As a shoe shine boy, I polished shoes; now I pray I can polish your soul to prepare to join the Communion of Saints. Please pray that our retreat experience will help us grow in friendship with Jesus and all those dear to us who reveal the face of God to us.”

Fr. Mike was ordained a priest on May 16,1987. After Ordination, Father Mike had served as a Parochial Vicar, a high school teacher and school minister before becoming the
Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish in 2004. He began parish ministry, serving as a parochial vicar, until he became Pastor of Divine Mercy Parish in Philadelphia in 2004.

In 2015, Fr. Mike became Pastor of Assumption BVM Parish in Feasterville, PA in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, where there has been a Flame of Love Prayer Cenacle for
many years. He is also Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Movement in the US.

Just recently, Fr. Mike returned from sabbatical for a fall semester at the University of Dayton taking graduate classes on the topic of Mariology (from 1500 to present day).

Fr. Mike believes in the reality of evil, strongly rooted in a person’s choice to reject a relationship with God who has made us for Himself, and truly believes Blessed Mother Mary is a powerful Mediatrix of graces. While evil exists and Satan is always working as the “Grand Liar,” God’s Mercy and The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are the antidotes

Father James Blount is a priest of the Society of Our Lady of the Trinity, Georgia Mission. A very gifted spiritual director and confessor, FatherJim is a bold, charismatic preacher endowed and empowered with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He speaks of living a life in relationship with each of the Persons of the Holy Trinity: The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. His humble boldness and untiring drive to minister to the lost and ill are particularly noteworthy.

Dedicated to his healing and deliverance ministry, Father travels preaching and proclaiming the Gospel whenever and wherever he can, in the United States and abroad.
