Father James McGuinn

Father Jim is the Son of Eddie and Mary McGuinn, both of whom were born in Ireland. He has one brother, three sisters, and lots of nieces and nephews. He grew up in Philadelphia, went to college in Massachusetts, and lived for a year in a monastery in Pittsburgh. He attended St. Charles Borromeo seminary in Wynnewood, PA. and was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia in 1988. He has been a parochial vicar, a high school teacher and chaplain, the director of the Newman ministries at two universities and a pastor. He is the author and founder of CONNECTIONS, which is a new process that inspires and equips Catholics to grow in their faith and be fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. He loves Catholic evangelization, helping parishes achieve their redemptive potential,and forming leaders.

Bill Yoh

Award-winning and best-selling author Bill Yoh is a lifelong writer, leader, and learner. His first book, Our Way, chronicles the life of his father, Spike, and the profound forces that shape family, business, and community relations. His recently published second book, Unvarnished Faith, is a vulnerable dive into an overseas mission trip and the life-changing lessons it evoked. Bill has launched and facilitates two ecumenical small groups in Bible study and Gospel reflection.
Bill is a third generation owner and executive at Day & Zimmermann, his family’s 45,000-employee business. He serves on the boards of Cape Regional Health System, Duke Catholic Center, Leadership Institute for Black Women, Select Greater Philadelphia, Military Veteran Partners, Quake Media, and Unbounded Media. He is the former chair of The Haverford School, one of the largest independent schools in the United States.
Bill holds a BA from Duke, an MBA from Wharton, and a Master’s in ministry and theology from Villanova. He teaches a family business class at Wharton and enjoys writing poetry, playing guitar, cooking, and fishing. He and his family and their many pets live in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
