Day of Reflection: Feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary
The Blessed Mother is the first disciple of Christ and a role model for the Church. During this day, we’ll explore in prayer and reflection the significant role of Queen Mary in the Church and the individual lives of Christians.
Retreat Director: Msgr. John D. Gabin, Pastor of Holy Cross Church in Springfield Pennsylvania
Monsignor Gabin was born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia. He attended public schools, including Penn State University and was ordained by St. Charles Seminary in 1975. He received a Master’s degree in Social Work from Catholic University of America and served as parochial vicar in several parishes. Father was pastor of St. Dominic Parish in Philadelphia before becoming pastor of Holy Cross Church in Springfield.
