The Catholic Tent Revival Peaks Interest

Questions are abounding daily about the upcoming Catholic Tent Revival, scheduled for Sunday, October 7th from 12 noon to 7:30 PM.  “A Catholic Revival?”  Can I bring my family and those who don’t believe?  Absolutely!

Under “the big top,” a tent holding 1,000 people, the day will feature Mass celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Timothy Senior, the rosary in conjunction with The National Crusade of the Holy Rosary, confession in the field, adoration and a line-up of national speakers including Fr. James Blount, Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers, Jesse Romero, Johnnette Benkovic and lay witnesses Kathleen McCarthy and Jennifer Hubbard.  Prayer and Praise music will be led by Teresa Peterson and her band.  Marty Rotella, a 3-time Grammy nominee will introduce the crowd to the new theme song for the retreat house, Come as You Are.

Children under 10 years of age will be entertained by the Donutman in Upper McShain Conference Center.

Food trucks will be available; individuals and families are welcome to bring their own food as well.  Ample FREE parking is available at Radnor Hunt Club on Providence Road with shuttle buses running all day to the front gates of the retreat house.

A special Healing Session will take place from the stage with Fr. James Blount and Kathleen McCarthy.  An impartation of the Holy Spirit from the team asking for physical, spiritual and emotional healing for all who are present will represent one of the many highlights of the day.

Individuals and families are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets.  1,000 seats are provided under the tent on a first-come, first serve basis.

Volunteers are still needed to assist us in this enormous event.  We also encourage everyone to register online at laymensretreat.wpengine.com.  Even though this is a FREE event, registration is encouraged.  On this page, one may register as a Sponsor or a Volunteer as well.

As a rain or shine event, this is a life-changing day for all those seeking to enhance their relationship with the Lord and Our Blessed Mother.
