What is a Revival? Why Now?

With The Catholic Tent Revival coming on Sunday, October 7^th here at Malvern Retreat House, a few people asked the question, “why a revival?”

Revival, dear friends, is when God comes down bringing the “rush” of heaven.

When God comes down, things happen; yes, even in the middle of a field, under a tent, surrounded by 125 acres of wooded countryside.  Mountains of anger, revenge, hatred unforgiveness, shame and so much more simply melt away.

It’s time to get right with God!  Put yourself at God’s disposal. Recognize God’s Kingship in your life and that of your family.  “We are the clay, He is the potter, and we are all the work of His hand.”

Remember God’s mercy for your life.  He wants to extend His mercy to you through this Revival.   The Sacrament of Reconciliation will be offered in the field throughout the day before Mass.  Perhaps, you haven’t been to Confession in years.  This is YOUR moment, a time of receiving God’s mercy. The mountaintop experience will be when you receive the Holy Eucharist in thanksgiving for all that He desires of you.  Are you ready?

He wants to heal you and transform your family.  The moment you say “yes” to come to the Revival, the Lord will begin working in your life.  Open your heart to the stirrings He will place in you; the nudge to get off your sofa, turn off the TV and travel to the retreat house.  A special Healing Session will take place during the day with the entire team asking the Holy Spirit to infuse you with the love of God the Father and the love of His Mother Mary.

If you desire to seek God in your life, during this Revival, He will answer your plea with a heavenly embrace.

This is a day of JOY called forth directly from Our Lord and the Blessed Mother.  That’s right, JOY!!!  It is Our Lady’s Feast day and we will honor her with the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and praying the Holy Rosary with the National Crusade of the Holy Rosary for the entire USA at 4pm.

We don’t have to persuade God to send us REVIVAL, He is waiting to rain down the Holy Spirit on all who attend.

The Joy of Jesus!  His Mercy. His Love.
