The Young Adult Missionary Disciple Initiative (YAMDI) is a formation program to accompany young adults (ages 19-39) into a deeper relationship with our Lord and their personal transformation into missionary disciples.
Brighten up the winter gloom with a cozy weekend learning to chant the Liturgy of the Hours! This three-day retreat will offer practical workshops on chant and theology, chanted offices in common all across the weekend, daily Mass, and handcrafted music booklets made by Paul to help you practice and learn. We hope that you will come away from the retreat with a more in-depth understanding of the Divine Office and practical tools to bring sung prayer back to your family and community.
Paul Rose is the creator and primary voice of Sing the Hours, a sung Liturgy of the Hours podcast, which he began in late 2020 in response to the troubled times of the covid pandemic. Since then, he has created over 2,100 sung offices in almost four years, gathering a global audience of thousands who pray along. His dream is to help the Church recover her heritage of beautiful, devotional, chanted prayer to the glory of God and the good of the world. Paul is married to his beautiful wife Julia and together they dote on their first born infant daughter, Carmella. In his spare time, Paul runs a secular company educating school children in speech and debate.
