Our men’s retreats provide an opportunity for men to come together, share their spiritual journeys and grow stronger in their relationships with God. Often, grandfathers, fathers and sons choose to experience a weekend retreat together at Malvern Retreat House.

The Men of Malvern

Many of our men’s retreats are offered specifically to the Men of Malvern, an intergenerational group of Catholic men. Founded in 1912 as the Laymen’s Retreat League of Philadelphia, they formed Malvern Retreat House and remain our foundational group—in our past, present and future. Any man is welcome to attend a men’s retreat and learn more about joining the Men of Malvern.

A Prayer for Men & Fathers

God our Father, we give you thanks and praise for fathers young and old. We pray for our own fathers who have supported and challenged us; We remember fathers around the world whose children are lost or suffering; We pray for men who are not fathers but still mentor and guide us with fatherly love and advice. We remember fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers who are no longer with us but who live forever in our memory and nourish us with their love. Amen.
