Malvern Retreat House is the oldest and largest Catholic retreat community in the country. Each year, we hold more than 250 retreats, reflections, and special events designed to fulfill the spiritual needs of people seeking to deepen their relationship with Christ. This retreat is open to all men no matter your religion or group affiliation, new retreatants are welcome to attend.
Please consider taking some time to draw nearer to our Lord in a peaceful setting, away from the many distractions that cloud our world. As men of faith, we need to come together and rejuvenate our relationship with Christ. Come to the peaceful grounds known as “St. Joseph’s in the Hills.” Sit in silence before our Lord in one of the adoration chapels. Walk the Stations of the Cross. Spend some time in quiet contemplation at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto. Pray and reconnect with our Lord.
Please consider joining us at this year’s men’s retreat, to be held on the weekend of May 1-3, 2026. We are very excited to have Fr. Andrew Heiman as this year’s retreat director! Fr. Drew is from Kansas, but will be teaching at St. Charles Seminary for the next few years. He is an experienced retreat director, and the focus for this retreat will be “God’s Merciful Love Upon his Beloved Sons.”
This is a coed retreat with males and females being roomed on different floors. The rooms are single rooms with shared restrooms in the hall, college dorm style.

The Retreat Director for the retreat has been a member of AA for many years and will be offering a weekend program exploring Steps 6 & 7 focusing on the origins of our character defects and how we can surmount them and live a peaceful life with ourselves and others.
