Dcn John Lozano
Deacon John is a husband, dad, business man, as well as an experienced counselor, educator and author. Deacon John worked for 24 years in Campus Ministry at Villanova University and as a part-time instructor in the department of Theology and Religious Studies. John also worked as the director of Adult Faith Formation at St. Norbert’s parish. His two books, “Good News in Bad Times” and “Becoming a Fervent Disciple” are published by twenty-third publications. Additionally John has produced a Podcast site: “Real Life Christianity with Deacon John Lozano” that he welcomes all to visit.

Kevin Hughes
Is Professor of Historical Theology and Spirituality at Villanova University. His interests as a teacher and scholar are in medieval theology and spirituality, mystical theology, and contemplative practice. He has given talks to academic and pastoral communities across the country for over 25 years, helping people to draw upon the deep and sometimes forgotten spiritual resources of the Christian tradition to help them grow in faith, hope, and love. He is the author of Church History: Faith Handed On and Constructing Antichrist: Paul, Biblical Commentary, and the Development of Doctrine in the Early Middle Ages along with articles appearing in journals such as Modern Theology, Theological Studies, Franciscan Studies, and the Heythrop Journal. He is the father of three adult daughters and lives in Media, PA with his wife Bridget, a ceramic artist.
