Board of Directors

Stephen L. MacNamee, Jr., Chairman

Stephen MacNamee, Jr. is a 38-year retreatant and a member of the Holy Rosary/West Catholic Group. A 1965 graduate of Saint Joseph’s University, MacNamee, Jr. is the Founder and Chairman of M.A.I.N. Financial Services, Inc. He has served in numerous Catholic and financial organizations, including the Catholic Leadership Institute (Board of Directors, 2005-2007); Brokerage Services (BRAMCO, President, 1998-2002); SS. Simon & Jude Parish (Parish Council Member, Lector, Usher, and Eucharistic Minister); SS. Simon & Jude Capital Building Campaign (Chair); and the Chester County Catholic Charity Campaign (Chair). MacNamee, Jr.’s spiritual dedication led to him personally meeting with Pope John Paul II after being honored as a Knight of the Holy Sepulcher.

MacNamee. Jr. has been married for 49 years. He now has four daughters, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Jacqueline J. Delaney, Vice Chairman

A graduate of Saint Joseph’s University and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Church Ministry Institute, Delaney is an active community member. She regularly dedicates time to the National Advisory Board (member); the Catholic Leadership Institute; Mercy Spiritual Ministries (Board member); Stewards of St. John Neumann (Executive Committee member); the Barnes Foundation (Arboretum Advisory Committee and Steering Committee Member); Archbishop Christmas Benefit for Children (Chairperson); CYO Hall of Fame, Archdiocese of Philadelphia; and St. John Vianney Parish, Gladwyne (Lector and Extraordinary Minister).

Patrick R. Laphen, Co-Treasurer

Laphen, an 11-year retreatant with the St. Blaise-Curran Memorial Group, serves as a Finance Committee Member, Recruiter, Promoter and Parish Rep for Malvern Retreat House. He is a graduate of Philadelphia University with an M.B.A. in Finance. In his career, Laphen is the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development for Lionheart Industrial Group, LLC. His other leadership and involvements include Little Smiles of Philadelphia (Board President); St. Anastasia School CYO (Board President); the local Philadelphia chapter of American Ireland Fund (Former Chairman); and ACG Philadelphia (former member, Event Planning Committee).

Sarah Christmyer, Secretary

Christmyer is a graduate of Gordon College and a current student at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, where she is studying for her Master’s in Theology. She works as an Adjunct Faculty Member for Scripture at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary. Outside of her studies, Christmyer is the co-developer, executive editor, advisor and program director for The Great Adventure Catholic Bible Study Program, published by Ascension Press. She is also an author and freelance editor, writes the annual 90-day Bible reading challenge for Ascension Press and is a public voice on topics related to Scripture and the Catholic faith. Christmyer regularly serves as a Bible study teacher and leader.

James R. Molinari, Member At Large

Current CA Captain and member of the Caenaculum Group, Jim is a 39-year retreatant who also served for 28 years as the Associate Captain and Recruiter for the Caenaculum Group. A Sullivan Award recipient for excellence in recruiting, Molinari is a graduate of Villanova University and Widener University School of Law. He is Member of the law firm of Zarwin, Baum, DeVito, Kaplan, Schaer and Toddy, P.C.  Molinari has been admitted to the PA Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts in PA and NJ.  He is a member of St John Neumann Parish in Bryn Mawr PA and is an active member of the St. Joseph’s Prep Alumni.  Jim is also a supporter of the Lupus Foundation, American Cancer Society and the Huntingdon’s Disease Foundation.

Rev. Msgr. Ralph Chieffo

Chieffo entered St. Charles Seminary in 1966 and was ordained in 1975. He earned his Master’s degree in English Literature from Villanova University in 1974 and another Master’s degree in Religious Studies in 2000. Chieffo was honored by Pope Benedict as a Monsignor in 2011 and has served in several parishes, including St. Patrick, Malvern and King of Peace. Presently, he is the pastor of St. Mary Magdalen in Media, where he has been since 2000. Chieffo has served as leader for Charismatic Groups and the St. Charles Seminary Board. Now, he serves the Archdiocesan Men’s Conference and as a Board Member for the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Carmen DiPasquale

A member of the Our Lady of Peace Group and an 18-year retreatant, DiPasquale has served as Our Lady Peace of Group’s CA Captain for three years and has been on the planning committee for eight years. DiPasquale was also a 12-year retreatant and CA Captain for seven years with the 4th of July Family Retreat Group. DiPasquale, a Clinical Dietician at Dunwoody Village, is a two-year member of the Spirituality Committee, a Discovering Christ Series facilitator and a Project HOME volunteer. DiPasquale, bilingual in Spanish and English, is a parishioner, Eucharistic Minister and RCIA Team Member at St. Francis of Assisi Parish.

Victor Frederick

Frederick is a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace group and is a 26-year retreatant. He is also a member of the Steering Committee and has served as recruiting chair, associate captain, and deputy captain. An Attorney with Frederick Law Offices and a Judge in the Magisterial District Court of Oley PA, Frederick earned his law degree from Widener Law School after graduating from St. Leo University. He is a Pro Bono Team Member with the PA Bar Association, a member of the Berks County Bar Association, and the Founder of the Charity Santa House. Frederick also serves as Counselor, Board of Directors Member, and Web Manager for Camp Cadet Troop-L Reading.

Frederick is a dedicated youth volunteer: he dedicates time to Middle School and High School Mock Trial Competitions, is a speaker and volunteer for Prom Safety Programs and Drug Awareness and works as a Youth Sports Coach/Director for the Police Athletic League and Pottstown Little League, St. Pius X. Frederick is member of the Daniel Boone Optimist Club, a Team Captain for Walk Now for Autism Speaks (7 years), and a Lector, Cantor, Finance Committee Member and Chairperson of the Men’s Conference at St. Aloysius Church.

Michael T. Gillespie, Jr.

Gillespie, Jr. serves as Vice President of Client Services at Gillespie Group Marketing and Advertising. He is the Board Chair for Our Lady of Hope Regional Catholic School and a Board Member for the Police Athletic League. Additionally, he is involved with Mercy Vocation High School (Committee Member); Philadelphia Children’s Alliance (Former Chair, current Board Member); The Neumann Forum (Board Member); March of Dimes (Ambassador Father); and Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church (Council Member and Volunteer Lector).

John F. Givnish

A member of the Immaculate Conception Group and a 31-year retreatant, Givnish is also a member of the Retreat Committee and the Good Shepherd Club. He is the President and CEO of Life Celebration By Givnish and a graduate of the American Academy-McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. Givnish holds Funeral Director and Insurance Licenses in PA and NY. He is a member of the Holy Name Society and the Catholic Philopatrian Literary Institute, and is a past President of the Northeast Philadelphia Lions Club.

Robert Humbert

Humbert has been a member of the Six-Three Group for 45 years; previously, he served as CA Captain of the Six-Three Group. He is now on the Executive Committee of the Six-Three Group. Humbert is a Registered Professional Engineer (PA, VA and NY) and the VP and Technical Director of AECOM’s Freight Rail Sector. He holds a Professional Engineer certification in a number of states, including PA, and is a graduate of Villanova University with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering-Transportation. Humbert has been married for 37 years and has three sons.

Michael Mallick

A member of the St. Joseph’s Group, Mallick is a nine-year retreatant. He is a member of the Finance Committee. Mallick is a graduate of Boston University School of Management and now serves as the Principal of the Valley Forge Financial Group in King of Prussia, PA. He holds Series 6, 22, 63, Life, Accident, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance Licenses and was formerly the Finance Manager at WP Realty. He has also worked as a Senior Finance Analyst with GE Energy Services.

Vince Murphy

A member of the Immaculate Conception Group and a 23-year retreatant, Murphy served as CA Captain from 2009 to 2013 and is now Recruiting Director. He was the recipient of Malvern’s 2008 Chairman’s Award and is a member of the Retreat Committee. Murphy is the former School Director and Board President of the West Chester Area School District (2011 – 2013). An accomplished professional with expertise in all aspects of software engineering methods, architecture, technology assessment and systems development, Murphy is also an active parishioner at St. Patrick’s, Malvern.

Virginia Pellegrino

Pellegrino has been a member of Women’s Teas Planning and Organizing committee for three years. A graduate of Trinity College with an MSc degree from the London School of Economics and a Master’s of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan, she has 30 years of experience in healthcare and hospital administration. This experience includes 10 years in the health care ministry of the Archdiocese of New York, and 8 years with the Mercy Health System in Philadelphia. While with the Archdiocese of New York, Pellegrino worked to bring health and spiritual care to AIDs patients. She is now a parishioner at St. Patrick’s, Malvern.

Michael T. Rigolizzo

A 34-year retreatant with the Ave Maria Group, Rigolizzo is has been Captain of the group since 2007. After graduating from Farleigh Dickinson University, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Delaware Law School of Widener University. He is a Partner at Cedar Lane Construction, LLC and the Founder and President of Green Power Corporation. Rigolizzo is a pioneer in both sustainable and renewable energy resource technology.
