Retreat Directors and Speakers
Retreat Director
Fr. Mike Davis
Father Mike was ordained on May 16, 1987 by Bishop John J. Graham, and has served as a parish priest for all but 5 years as he had served on the Faculty of Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown, and St. Maria Goretti High School, Philadelphia from 1990-1995. In parish ministry, he has served as a Parochial Vicar, as a Parochial Administrator, and as a Pastor in several parishes. Currently, Father Mike is the Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Feasterville. Father Mike loves the Blessed Virgin Mary, truly appreciates her spiritual motherhood, and firmly supports the challenging work of the Legionaries of Mary as her instruments to invite and encourage persons to connect to Jesus through His Mother. Father Mike is the Spiritual Director of the Our Lady of the Assumption Praesidium in his parish, and is the Spiritual Director of the Bucks County Curia of the Legion of Mary.
2023
Retreat Director
Rev. Mauricio R. Pineda
Father Pineda was ordained by the Most Reverend Paul Loverde for the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia, on June 7, 2014. He has served as a parish priest in different parishes and, for the last three years, as a full-time student at Divine Mercy University. Father Pineda describes his relationship with the Blessed Virgin Mary as a key in his spiritual life. She is, for him, a loving and caring mother, a companion on his earthly pilgrimage, and in his priestly life and ministry. Fr. Pineda is a great supporter of the Legion of Mary. He admires how the legionaries help Catholic lay people fulfill their baptismal promise in an organized structure supported by fraternity and prayer.

Speaker
Mary Bea Damico
Led to Jesus through Our Blessed Mother, Mary Bea is a passionate Catholic Evangelist, with a deep love for the Eucharist, Our Lady, and for our one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Her witness is one of giving her continuous ‘Yes’ at the calling of Our Lord – in the workplace, in the family and in the world. Most recently, she responded to the Lord’s whisper to create a place of Eucharistic Encounter for the youth at Malvern Retreat House, building upon the life and work of Blessed Carlo Acutis – and the challenge to become the saints we were created to be.
Mary Bea is the President of Vovéo Marketing Group, a full service B2B Marketing Agency which she founded in January of 1995. A graduate of St. Joseph’s University, Mary Bea has served on the Haub School of Business Marketing Advisory Board, and is an active member of the Malvern Retreat House Board, as well as the St. Patrick School Board. She serves on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Eucharistic Revival Committee, and is an active member of St. Patrick Parish Malvern. Through her business, Mary Bea has worked to assist many Catholic Non-Profit organizations – such as World Meeting of Families, Miraculous Medal Shrine, and National Centre for Padre Pio.
She has been a retreatant at Malvern since 2018, and has attended nearly 30 retreats.
