Women played a major part in Malvern Retreat House’s development, and in 1986, they began to hold retreats at Malvern. Today, the Women of Malvern, Women of Grace, and numerous women’s retreat groups continue to thrive. In 2013, Anne Sabol, the first woman to earn the 25-year retreatant pin, was awarded with the Chairman’s Award.
