Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine

The dedication ceremony for our new shrine will be held on Saturday, October 22 at 10am.  Archbishop Charles Chaput is scheduled to bless the shrine during this special event. Stay tuned for more details!

Thanks to the support of our retreatants, much progress has been made in efforts to complete a new shrine in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Stonework has been added to the walls of the new shrine that is located behind the McShain-Horstmann Family Life Center (FLC). New pathways also have been added from Our Lady’s Hall and from the meditation garden on the opposite side of the FLC. The new shrine honors the patron saint of the Americas and the pro-life movement. It is expected to be completed this year. Once finished, Malvern will have three major shrines for our Blessed Mother: Our Lady of Fatima on Path A, Our Lady of Lourdes at our Grotto and now Our Lady of Guadalupe.

A pathway has been added from Our Lady’s Hall to the new Our Lady of Guadalupe shrine.

Workers have been busy adding stonework to the new shrine.

The new shrine is located in the grassy field behind the Family Life Center.

This new pathway leads from the meditation garden to the new shrine.
