Father Salvatore Riccio

Fr. Salvatore M. Riccio lived and grew up in Montgomery County, PA.  He entered St. Charles Seminary in September of 1956 and was ordained on May 21, 1966 by John Cardinal Krol.  His assignments have all been within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.  Father Sal was a Parochial Vicar in five parishes, an Administrator in one parish and served as Pastor of St Francis of Assisi Parish in Springfield for 18 years.  In addition, he studied Music Composition at Temple University for three years and served on the Diocesan Music Commission for many years. Father Sal is now retired and assists in local parish work and at Malvern Retreat House.
