Steve was a 20+ year Man of Malvern (6-3 Group), adoptive dad of two and healthy former professional athlete when he arrived at retreat in June of 2018.  Little did he know that his faith would be tested and he would be on death’s door before summer’s end.  When he was at rock bottom, he was touched by an angel, who was present at one of the most pivotal times in this life and showed up again to help save his life.
