Speaker
Josie Stec
Josie W. Stec is both a convert and a revert to the Catholic faith, giving her a heart for the first time convert and the prodigal who is returning home. Reared in eastern North Carolina in a multi-generational Methodist family, she never considered becoming a Catholic. When a friend began challenging Josie on the issues of life, Josie challenged the faith of her youth. This patient, and persistent friend was a real life St. Monica who unveiled the truthful teaching on the beauty of life that culminated in Josies’ conversion to the Roman Catholic Church. May it be said that Josie is eternally grateful!
After a divorce, Josie wandered from the One True Faith, searching for herself and for her true love. God led her to both. Through time and prayer, Josie met her husband Tom, a fallen away Catholic himself, who was encouraged to return to church seeing Josie’s evangelical spirit. In time, Tom invited Josie to revisit the Catholic Church, her eyes were reopened to the beauty, reverence, and truth of the Roman faith, and she realized that she was home, never to leave again!
