Retreat Directors and Speakers

Retreat Director

Fr. Stephen DeLacy

Fr. Stephen DeLacy first learned about the process of discernment after hearing a Call from God to enter the Seminary and become a priest.  He developed this skill in the spirituality year at St Charles Borromeo Seminary—a year dedicated to spiritual formation and personal growth.  Before his current assignment, he guided young men in discerning God’s will to enter the Seminary while serving as Vocation Director. He is currently the Vicar for Faith Formation with Youth and Young Adults for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Retreat Director

Dr. Bryan Thatcher

Dr. Bryan Thatcher is a retired medical doctor from Tampa, Florida, who widely known as the founder of the Eucharistic Apostles of The Divine Mercy (EADM).

EADM is a prominent lay apostolate of the Congregation of Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. After experiencing a profound personal conversion 30 years ago through the diary of Saint Faustina, Dr. Thatcher pivoted his career from performing surgeries to spreading the message of Catholic Divine Mercy worldwide. He authored a popular series of three manuals used globally by small faith-sharing groups to study Saint Faustina’s diary alongside Sacred Scripture and the Catechism.

His global ministry has received three personally signed Apostolic Blessings from Pope St. John Paul II. Beyond prayer, his ministry coordinates the shipment of medical and educational supplies to impoverished areas, including severe outreach efforts in the Philippines.

He hosts the popular podcast and video series Mercy Unbound, which discusses living a sacramental life, trust, forgiveness, and carrying life’s crosses. He hosted the “Cenacle of The Divine Mercy” and “The Healing of Addictions Through the Message of Divine Mercy” on the EWTN global Catholic network.

Dr. Thatcher heavily preaches that Divine Mercy is not just a collection of prayers or a simple devotion, but rather an active “Way of Life.” He emphasizes that true devotion requires experiencing God’s love, forgiving oneself and others, and physically acting out works of mercy to lessen the misery of those around you.
