REMIGIO MORALES, SCV
July 22, 2021
Born in Lima city, capital of Peru. I love the rich nature and folklore of my country, I love the ocean, the arts, and silence. I did four years of humanistic studies which opened my quest for deep existential questions. After finding Christ in the Catholic Church in 1999, I joined the Sodilitium Christianae Vitae (SCV). I studied three years of Philosophy and three of Theology, followed by a master’s in Dogmatic Theology and finally a Certificate in Theological Anthropology. My ministry has been dedicated to the youth, families, and Theology teaching.
Fr. Remigio is the Spirituality Director of St Agatha-St James Parish in University City. The Sodalitium Christianae Vitae is a Society of Apostolic Life made up of laymen and priests who live in community as brothers and have fully given their lives to God, proclaiming the Gospel in the diverse circumstances of human life. Born in the wake of the Second Vatican Council, the Sodalitium embraces the guidelines presented in the major Church documents of the time. It was approved by St. John Paul II in 1997. The SCV community serves the parish community of St Agatha-St. James in University City and the Catholic Center at the University of Penn and Drexel University.
