Gloria Coyne will be our speaker. Her theme is “Getting out of your comfort zone.”
COMFORT ZONE
St. Catherine of Sienna said, “Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire.” God hasn’t called us to be comfortable, in fact, we experience our greatest growth and fulfillment when we surrender to God and allow Him to direct us. Most people define their ministries by their gifts and talents. Jesus asks us many times to do what we think we can’t do. We will discuss moving beyond our comfort zones in all aspects of our spiritual and ministry life and how Jesus’s command to love is directly related to your comfort zone.
Learn how to have a great adventure with surrender!
Our speaker:
The Blessed Mother was instrumental in bringing Gloria Coyne back to the one, true faith in 1996. Upon her return, she asked the Lord to show her how to use her gifts and talents to serve Him and build up His Kingdom. God took her up on her offer and He has always provided new and exciting challenges in ministry and service. She had developed a great devotion to the Holy Spirit and was led to Renewal in 1996.
Currently, she is the Bishop’s appointed Liaison for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Charismatic Renewal for over 15 years and has also been elected to serve on the Steering Committee for the Association of Diocesan Liaisons. At the Papal visit in Philadelphia, she was the local Administrator for the World Meeting of Families International Charismatic event. As a Renewal Coordinator for the English-speaking groups, here in Philadelphia, she oversees over 80 prayer groups, Experiencing Full Life in the Spirit Seminars, Praise & Worship and workshop events, and the annual Archdiocesan conference.
She has served on the Board of Catholic Charities and is on the Committee for the Archbishop’s Benefit for Children. Most recently, she has invited this past Pentecost, to the Vatican for the launch of CHARIS, an international service of communion.

Recovery Retreat for Men
Our Matt Talbot Retreats are held on designated weekends and devote time for spirituality in recovery from alcoholism. Our retreats bring together a group of recovering alcoholics in a setting that promotes fellowship and sharing throughout the weekend.
Most retreats focus on one broad topic for the weekend. Our retreat-masters are usually both recovering alcoholics and members of the clergy, which brings valuable insight into the spiritual realm of alcoholism.
As a group of recovering alcoholics, we recognized the need for a connection with a power greater than ourselves. Our solution is to use the Matt Talbot spiritual retreat weekend to find how to utilize the tools suggested in the Twelve Steps. Our retreats offer conferences, discussion group break-out sessions, discussion & speaker meetings, one-on-ones, and the Celebration of the Eucharist. The Matt Talbot Retreats are non-denominational, ecumenical, and are spiritual, rather than specifically religious. All faiths are welcome.
[Note:]
The Matt Talbot Retreat Movement Inc. and their groups are not affiliated with AA, Al-Anon, NA, SA, or GA. Nor are they cognate with any religious events sanctioned by the Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Muslims, Hindu faith or any other organized religion. Our groups are autonomous, deriving from, The National Matt Talbot Retreat Movement Inc. and hold no affiliation with retreat houses and their administrations.
